Hey everyone, this last week I was planning on writing a brief encouragement and reflection around the Holy Week. As I was thinking about what to write I thought about how I read articles online. I typically see a headline click the link and then immediately scroll to the bottom of the page to see how long it is. If it is a lengthy article I often save it for later, later just has not come yet. So I thought what might be a good alternative, and so here is a video for this week.
I have been really hesitant to make a video sermon these last few weeks because it is incredibly awkward to preach to an empty room and this video definitely stretched me. The other reason is in this time of isolation I don’t think we need more content to consume but rather community to engage with. That is why we have been putting time into video gatherings so that at the very least we can see one another, read scripture together and pray. I would encourage you if you have not found ways to engage with the church family to think of ways that work for you.
With all that said I hope this video is encouraging.
Thanks to:
